BUCKY.

      He knew he was MUMBLING, he knew he was half awake, he knew he couldn’t fall asleep. The thoughts kept him awake, his stomach  g r u m b l i n g . He didn’t notice someone walking around, too focused on his mumbling and not falling asleep that he only woke up when Rebecca spoke up. 

      ❝ Huh? ❞ he asked, LIFTING his head and opening his eyes wide. ❝ Yeah, I’ll… I’ll shower, ❞ he agreed, hoisting himself up to his feet, stumbling at first before FINDING HIS BALANCE. ❞ I’m not hungry, YOU should eat something, ❞ Bucky added before moving towards the shower, closing the door behind him and shedding his clothes.

          “ I’m not going to eat without…… you. ”

rebecca watched as HE MADE HIS WAY TOWARDS the bathroom and shut the door behind him. letting out a soft sigh, she turned around and made her way back towards their small kitchen. the rest of the siblings were all sleeping so it was just the two of them awake. she looked down at the sandwich she made and after grabbing a knife, she cut it in half and put the second piece on another plate.

 it wasn’t much, but she wasn’t going to eat if he didn’t have SOMETHING AS WELL. grabbing another glass she filled it up with water and set it up next to her brothers plate. sitting down herself she pulled a little piece of bread off of her sandwich and nibbled on it before taking a drink of her water. she heard the water shut off a few rooms over and knew he would be joining her soon. sitting back in her plate, she closed her eyes for a moment while she waited.
